Minnesota's Mall of America Protest

On Saturday, December 20, 2014, one of the busiest shopping days, a protest took over the rotunda section of America's biggest mall, the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minneapolis. Protesters were there against the wishes of the mall's administrators and policy. The event was organized to protest nationwide police killings of Black men. More than two-thousand people shut down the mall for nearly two hours, with twenty-five arrests reported. Regular shoppers also joined the manifestation.
